Beat Burnout Before It Begins

We take a holistic approach to measuring stress and its impact on individuals, teams, and organisations. Our proven tool, AURA, helps you proactively identify and address workplace stress—preventing burnout, improving resilience and creating an environment where people thrive.
The Problem: Stress—A Hidden Risk to Your Business
❌ The work environment has changed – Constant change, remote work isolation, rising demands, and digital overload are creating new pressures that fuel stress.
❌ Stress often goes unnoticed until it’s too late – By the time leaders see the impact, it often takes the form of burnout, breakdowns or risky, irrational behaviour.
❌ The hidden costs are huge – Productivity declines, sick leave rises, turnover increases and company culture deteriorates —ultimately putting your organisation’s performance and reputation at risk.
❌ Unchecked stress erodes performance – It clouds judgment, stifles creativity, causing people to lose confidence and drains motivation—fuelling disengagement, negativity and resentment.
⚠️ Stress is a major operational risk – Employees under chronic stress are a leading cause of cyber incidents, yet most organisations fail to factor stress into their risk management.
The Real Challenge? Recognition and Measurement.
➡️ Without data, stress remains invisible—making it easy to ignore.
How We Can Help: From Awareness to Action
Change starts with awareness. Only when individuals, teams, and organisations truly understand the impact of stress can they take meaningful action. AURA makes this possible.
1. Run a Stress Assessment
AURA’s scientifically designed questionnaire measures personal stress levels across five key areas, providing a diagnostic view of its impact.

2. Analyse the Insights
We transform data into actionable intelligence. AURA’s reports—at individual, team, and organisational levels—pinpoint priority issues and unearth root causes from the workplace. Team and company-wide insights are fully anonymised to encourage honest responses.

3. Create an Action Plan
Insights are only valuable when they drive meaningful change. Using AURA’s insights, we help prioritise key issues and identify actionable steps to create a lasting positive impact.
We support this process through facilitated workshops or by empowering managers with the skills to lead constructive conversations.

4. Monitor & Refine
Stress management is an ongoing process. We support organisations in tracking progress, refining strategies, and ensuring a sustained culture of resilience and well-being.

About AURA
Our proprietary tool ‘AURA’ was developed in 2015 by Rachel Austen, Chartered Occupational Psychologist after a personal experience of burnout.
Through her extensive work with businesses and individuals, Rachel identified a lack of scientific methods in assessing stress and recognized the need for a practical approach to detect risks early—helping both individuals and organizations take proactive steps to prevent crises before they occur.
AURA has since been implemented in many large organisations across more than 15 countries as a standard for measuring, benchmarking and managing stress.
AURA assessment model: A holistic approach to measuring stress

Grounded in science, AURA measures stress levels along a continuum ranging from thriving to crisis, profiling symptoms across 5 areas where stress can manifest. AURA’s holistic nature enables the full spectrum of potential issues to be surfaced whilst being practical and efficient.
AURA reporting: Insights for individuals, teams and managers

AURA provides individuals, teams and organisations with a resilience index and stress profiles, enabling them to identify hotspots and priorities for attention. This sets a baseline for improvement and informs focused remedial actions.
AURA’s resilience index is an important business metric that should be integrated into any management system.
AURA’s platform contains a comprehensive library of resources with practical tips, tools and materials to help individuals, teams and managers cultivate healthy personal and workplace practices over the long-term.

FAQs
Thriving refers to a state of flourishing and optimal functioning. It’s not just about surviving challenges, but excelling and growing through them. When someone is thriving, they feel energised, engaged, and fulfilled in both personal and professional aspects of their life. Thriving implies achieving success, well-being, and continuous development, even when faced with difficulties.
Resilience, on the other hand, is the ability to bounce back from adversity. It involves recovering from setbacks, adapting to change, and maintaining emotional stability during stressful times. Resilience helps people manage stress and overcome challenges, but it doesn’t necessarily mean thriving in the long run. Resilience enables you to withstand tough situations, but thriving is about going beyond survival to reach your full potential.
